Strictly investigate formalism, "one-size-fits-all" approaches, and ensure that the central ecological environment protection inspection effectively reduces the burden on the grassroots.
Currently, the third round of central ecological and environmental protection inspections is underway, and three batches of inspections have been completed for some provinces and central enterprises. In this process, resolutely rectifying formalism and effectively reducing the burden on the grassroots is a prominent highlight of the central ecological and environmental protection inspection. To address the issues raised by the masses in some areas in response to the inspection, some places have resorted to centralized suspensions of work, production, and business, or used a "campaign-style" correction method. The inspection requires strict prevention of formalism and "one-size-fits-all" approaches to truly reduce the burden on the grassroots. Wen Yingmin, Deputy Director of the Coordination Office of the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Inspection, said: Implementing unrealistic and anti-natural emergency responses causes unnecessary trouble for the grassroots and places a heavy burden on them. During our inspection, we focus on investigating and addressing the phenomenon and problems of "one-size-fits-all" approaches, and we will not tolerate any such behavior.
