Shanghai Airlines Tourism Group: Deeply involved in the comprehensive tourism development of Sanming, the Shanghai Hongqiao-Sanming route is officially opened.

On April 25th, with the smooth landing of Eastern Airlines MU6317 flight at Sanming Shaxian Airport, the Shanghai Hongqiao to Sanming route was officially opened. The opening of this route is another important milestone in the deepening cooperation and development of aviation and tourism between Eastern Airlines Travel Group and Sanming Airport Group, following the operation of the Beijing Daxing to Sanming route in 2024. The newly opened Shanghai Hongqiao round-trip to Sanming route will not only provide convenient travel options for business, tourism, and visiting passengers between Shanghai and Sanming, but will also integrate "aviation + tourism" resources to launch customized products such as "Shanghai-Sanming Weekend Micro Vacation" and "Red Revolutionary Base Study Tours", achieving a beneficial cycle of "route attraction and tourism retention". It is reported that in 2021, Eastern Airlines Travel Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Sanming Municipal Government to continue deepening its presence in the Sanming cultural and tourism market. In October 2024, Eastern Airlines Travel Group and the Sanming Airport Group signed a "Sanming Aviation and Tourism Integration Development Cooperation Agreement" to engage deeply in the comprehensive tourism development of Sanming.
