On April 25, 2025, the Shanghai Auto Show officially welcomed its first day of spectators. According to a report by China Securities Journal, at the Shanghai Auto Show, the promotion of intelligent driving assistance by car manufacturers is drastically different from two months ago. Slogans such as "smart driving," "advanced smart driving," "approaching L3," "full scene," and "zero intervention" describing intelligent driving assistance have quietly disappeared, replaced by "intelligent driving assistance." Some companies even deliberately emphasize the "assistance" aspect multiple times when introducing related functions at press conferences. Several executives of car companies interviewed stated that exaggerating or excessively promoting intelligent driving assistance can easily lead consumers to misjudge its functional boundaries, thereby causing potential safety hazards. "Therefore, it is a good thing that there are certain regulations on the promotion of driving assistance by relevant departments, which will promote the industry to shift from being aggressive to more rational."
