Massachusetts Democratic Senator Warren has demanded Treasury Secretary Benson disclose the details of a closed-door investors meeting on Tuesday. Warren stated that the meeting may have provided an opportunity for "individuals closely connected to this administration to engage in insider trading or other financial gain." In a letter to Benson, Warren said, "You and other White House officials appear to be providing confidential information about tariffs to Wall Street insiders while keeping this information hidden from the public, you owe Congress and the public an explanation."
