According to the financial news app Wall Street Finance, statistics from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange show that in March 2025, the total transaction volume of the Chinese foreign exchange market (excluding the foreign exchange pair market) was 26.99 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.76 trillion US dollars). Among them, the bank-customer market had a turnover of 3.77 trillion yuan (0.53 trillion US dollars), and the interbank market had a turnover of 23.21 trillion yuan (3.24 trillion US dollars); the spot market had a total turnover of 9.50 trillion yuan (1.32 trillion US dollars), and the derivatives market had a total turnover of 17.49 trillion yuan (2.44 trillion US dollars).
