According to a report commissioned by the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America on the 25th, a 25% tariff on drugs would result in a $51 billion increase in the cost of drugs for the United States each year. Drug tariffs would increase production costs in the United States and decrease the competitiveness of American drug exports. If all drug tariffs were passed on to American drug prices, prices could rise by as much as 12.9%. (CCTV News)
