Total value of goods trade imports and exports in the first eight months increased by 17.6% year-on-year.

According to customs statistics, in the first eight months, China's total imports and exports of goods trade reached 34.78 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.6%. Among this, exports were 20.17 trillion yuan, up 14.6% year-on-year; imports were 14.61 trillion yuan, up 22% year-on-year.
