Demand continues to recover: China's logistics industry prosperity index for September released.
The China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing released the China Logistics Prosperity Index for September today. The index continued to remain in the expansion zone, rebounding from the previous month, with logistics demand continuing to recover and the operational resilience of enterprises steadily emerging. In September, the China Logistics Prosperity Index stood at 51.5%, up 0.6 percentage points from the previous month, remaining in the expansion zone for five consecutive months. The new orders index came in at 51.2%, up 0.4 percentage points month on month, rising for seven consecutive months. Of the 12 sub-indices, 10 rebounded month on month. Judging from data changes since the third quarter, logistics business demand has grown and micro-level operations have stabilized, laying the foundation for the smooth operation of the logistics prosperity index in the fourth quarter.
