Thirteen rivers nationwide are at risk of exceeding warning levels, with the largest deviation from the warning level reaching 1.28 meters.

This morning, the Ministry of Water Resources held a meeting to analyze and assess the national flood prevention situation. Currently, 13 rivers nationwide remain above the warning level. As of 9 AM today, 13 rivers in Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Hebei, Yunnan, and other regions are still above the warning level, with the maximum exceeding the warning level by 1.28 meters. According to forecasts, from August 6 to August 8, due to rainfall, tributaries such as the Xinchang River of the Cao'e River in Zhejiang, the Wei River's tributary Tuo River in Shaanxi, the Nanchak River of the in Hainan, and the Nanka River of the Lancang River in Yunnan may experience floods exceeding the warning level. Affected by upstream water inflow, the main stream of the Songhua River and its tributary Hulan River as well as the main stream of the Heilongjiang River at the Tongjiang section will remain above the warning level. The Ministry of Water Resources reminds the public in areas affected by heavy rainfall and flooding to take precautions.
