The Ministry of Justice deploys the judicial administrative system to deepen the special campaign against gang crime and evil forces.
Recently, the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Justice held a special meeting to deploy solid efforts in deepening the campaign against organized crime and gang-related activities within the judicial administration system. It emphasized the need to fully implement Xi Jinping's thoughts on the rule of law and the overall national security concept, and to thoroughly carry out the important instructions from General Secretary Xi Jinping. In accordance with the deployment of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, the requirements of the national video conference on the campaign against organized crime and gang-related activities must be met. Given the new manifestations, characteristics, trends, and rules of current organized crime and gang-related activities, the judicial administration system needs to effectively advance various tasks in the deepening campaign against such activities. It is essential to create a safer and more stable political and social environment for high-quality economic and social development based on its responsibilities. There must be strict legal measures to enhance the detention, management, and rehabilitation of criminals involved in organized crime and gang-related activities. It is important to legally conduct lawyer representation and defense in cases related to organized crime and gang activities, vigorously promote the publicity of laws and regulations such as the Anti-Organized Crime Law, enhance research on legal issues regarding information technology network-related crime and "soft violence," strengthen the management and support of individuals under rehabilitation, and better prevent and reduce recidivism. The focus should also be on advancing the establishment of a long-term mechanism for the prevention and governance of organized crime and gang-related activities in accordance with its duties.
