According to the meteorological department, affected by the southwest monsoon and Typhoon "Bavi", there have been heavy to torrential rains in East China, North China, Sichuan Basin and other areas, with locally extremely heavy rainfall. On July 12, a total of 52 trains were suspended at Chongqing Station of the Chengdu Railway Bureau to ensure the safe operation of trains and passenger travel. Chongqing Station of the Chengdu Railway Bureau temporarily suspended trains passing through the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail, Shanghai-Kunming high-speed rail, Shanghai-Nanjing intercity and other lines, mainly for trains heading from Chongqing to Shanghai Hongqiao, Hangzhou East, Zhangjiagang, Kunshan, Fuzhou South, Nanjing South and other directions. Among them, 36 trains at Chongqing North Station, 11 trains at Chongqing West Station, and 5 trains at Chongqing East Station were suspended.
