Jackson Yee's face has been used without permission in an AI short film for profit-making purposes. The platform has already taken down the related products.

In the early morning of April 5th, the studio of the artist Jackson Yee released a statement, stating that recently, the studio discovered that some online platforms were spreading AI-generated series that unauthorizedly used Jackson Yee's portrait. Jackson Yee did not participate in the relevant series nor did he authorize any third parties to synthesize his portrait through AI. As of the time of publication, the series "Midnight Bus" and "Trick Me into Having a Good Fetus?" have been taken down from the Hongguo Short Drama platform. However, Baidu, which also hosts similar works, has not made adjustments or taken down the characters' images. The Hongguo Short Drama's customer service responded by saying that the relevant short dramas have been taken down in response to governance requirements. The official response from Hongguo Short Drama to the reporter stated that the relevant content has been modified or deleted, while also reserving the right to further investigate and hold the producers accountable.
