Belarus has deployed Russian-made Iskander missiles.

Belarusian President Lukashenko announced on December 18 in his annual address to the Belarusian parliament and people that the Russian-made "Iskander" missile system has been deployed in Belarus. Lukashenko stated that the "Iskander" missile system was deployed to the first positions in Belarus on December 17 and will be put on combat duty. Belarus and Russia are implementing a series of strategic deterrence measures to strengthen defense capabilities, including the deployment of Russian regional group troops in Belarus.
