Yesterday, it was learned that since the start of the "14th Five-Year Plan", China's metrology field has achieved a quantitative improvement through the implementation of special actions such as measuring innovation. Statistics show that since the start of the "14th Five-Year Plan", 34 new national measurement benchmarks representing the highest legal measurement capacity of the country have been established, an increase of 89% compared to before, with a total of 208 benchmarks currently in place. The self-controllable rate of new benchmarks, which represents the proportion of core technologies and key components of benchmark devices developed, manufactured, and controlled independently by China, has increased from 20% at the end of 2020 to 78%. There have been 8000 new national standard materials established, an increase of 100% compared to before, with a total of 19,000 materials currently in place. Additionally, 652 new national measurement technical specifications have been added, an increase of 18% compared to before, with a total of 2,238 specifications currently in place. Furthermore, the number of calibration and measurement capabilities that have obtained international recognition has exceeded 2,000, placing China in the first position internationally.
