BAY AREA DEV(00737) announces that, after several open bidding and tendering processes conducted through the Guangzhou Public Resource Trading Center, on January 17, 2025, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Zhuhai Company entered into the following steel structure manufacturing contracts with various contractors for the approved road expansion project: 1. Entered into a steel structure manufacturing contract (G1 section) with Jiangsu Huning, with a contract price of RMB 553 million. 2. Entered into a steel structure manufacturing contract (G2 section) with China Railway Shanqiao, with a contract price of RMB 875 million. The scope of work under the steel structure manufacturing contract for G1 section includes the manufacturing of steel structure bridges (including ramp bridges, excluding Taiping to Wudianmei upper viaduct) from K2+270 to K71+130.658, with an estimated weight of 48,000 tons. The scope of work under the steel structure manufacturing contract for G2 section includes the manufacturing of Taiping to Wudianmei upper viaduct steel structure bridges from KSK59+958 to KSK63+731, with an estimated weight of 72,000 tons. The announcement stated that investment, construction, operation, and maintenance of highways are one of the group's main businesses. Entering into the steel structure manufacturing contracts (G1 and G2 sections) is part of the implementation of the approved road expansion project. Implementing the approved road expansion project will help enhance the capacity and service level of the approved road sections, strengthen the group's core competitiveness in the toll road industry, and align with the group's development strategy.
