Citigroup: Maintains forecast of Macau's total gaming revenue of 18 billion yuan in November this year.
The Macao Tourism Bureau expects that the upcoming Macau Grand Prix will attract over 400,000 tourists.
Citigroup released a research report stating that it maintains its forecast of a total gaming revenue of 18 billion yuan in Macau for November, which means an average GGR of about 6.15 billion yuan for the remaining days of the month. Industry insiders estimate that gaming revenue in Macau for the first 10 days of November may reach around 5.7 billion yuan per day, an increase of about 1% compared to the last 11 days of October.
Citigroup is skeptical about the VIP room market share. The win rate in VIP rooms dropped by 15% month-on-month, while the win rate in the mass market dropped by 13% to 15%, reflecting the higher base during the Golden Week last month. In addition, the Macau Government Tourism Office expects that the upcoming Macau Grand Prix will attract over 400,000 visitors. According to the Grand Prix Committee, most of the event tickets are already sold out.
