Li Chao, Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office of the National Development and Reform Commission and spokesperson for the Commission, stated at a press conference on the 29th that in August, the value added of large-scale equipment manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing increased by 8.1% and 9.3% year-on-year, respectively, which was 2.9 and 4.1 percentage points higher than the overall industrial value-added growth. The areas of integrated circuits, aerospace vehicles, industrial robots, civilian unmanned aerial vehicles, new energy vehicles, and other fields maintained rapid growth.
