Classification evaluation results of securities firms in 2025 have been released, with various new indicators being smoothly implemented to promote the functioning of securities companies.

On September 28, China Securities Regulatory Commission reported the results of the 2025 classification evaluation to securities companies. A total of 107 companies in the industry participated in the evaluation, with results as follows: 53 companies classified as A, 43 as B, and 11 as C. Among A-class companies, there were 14 companies rated as AA. In recent years, the number of companies in each category of securities firms has remained stable, with the proportions of A, B, and C-class companies roughly around 50%, 40%, and 10% respectively. AA-rated companies accounted for approximately 25% of A-class companies. According to relevant sources, the next step for regulatory authorities will focus on interpreting the classification evaluation of securities companies in 2025. Through issuing regulatory updates, specialized training, and other methods, the aim is to guide the industry to accurately understand regulatory guidelines and key requirements, enhance the transparency, guidance, and fairness of evaluation standards, and fully leverage the mechanism of classification evaluation as a "leading role".
