Wang Bohang, former member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Guizhou Province Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd., has been expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office.

The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission reported on September 28 that, according to information from the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has initiated a formal investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Wang Bohang, former member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Guizhou Provincial Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. According to the investigation, Wang Bohang has lost his ideals and beliefs, deviated from his original mission, engaged in cliques, and obstructed organizational inspections. He disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-point Regulation, accepted gifts that could affect the fair execution of official duties, and attended banquets that could affect the fair execution of official duties. He violated organizational principles by not truthfully explaining the issues during organizational discussions, sought personal gain for others in violation of rules, and accepted bribes. He engaged in power-for-profit transactions, engaged in profitable activities in violation of regulations, interfered in market economic activities, violated national laws and regulations by gambling, and used public power as a means to seek private interests, engaging in corruption and bribery, and illegally accepting substantial amounts of money. Wang Bohang has seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and work discipline. He has committed serious violations of laws and regulations in his duties and is suspected of bribery crimes. He has not restrained himself or stopped his actions since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, with serious nature and bad influence, and should be dealt with severely. In accordance with relevant regulations such as the "Chinese Communist Party Disciplinary Regulations", the "People's Republic of China Supervision Law", and the "People's Republic of China Administrative Punishments for Public Officials Law", and after deliberation and approval by the Guizhou Provincial Committee, Wang Bohang has been expelled from the Party; and he has been dismissed from public office by the Guizhou Provincial Supervision Commission. His ill-gotten gains from disciplinary and legal violations have been confiscated, and his suspected criminal issues have been transferred to the procuratorial organs for review and prosecution, and the assets involved have also been transferred accordingly.
