The Tunisian Ambassador to Tunisia visited the Minister of Commerce and Export Promotion.

On September 26, 2025, Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia Wan Li met with Tunisian Minister of Commerce and Export Promotion Samir Obeid, exchanging views on deepening economic and trade cooperation between China and Tunisia. Ambassador Wan stated that in recent years, exchanges and cooperation between China and Tunisia in various fields have become increasingly close, and bilateral trade has continued to grow steadily. China is an important trading partner for Tunisia and is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with Tunisia to promote mutually beneficial and sustainable development of bilateral trade. Minister Obeid praised the fruitful results of economic and trade cooperation between Tunisia and China. He stated that during his visit to China in June to participate in the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, he personally experienced China's great achievements in modernization and looked forward to more high-quality Tunisian products entering the Chinese market.
