A member of the Political Consultative Conference in Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, has had their qualifications revoked due to the crime of bigamy.

According to the news on the WeChat official account of the Pu'er Municipal Committee of the CPPCC on September 26th, due to serious violation of discipline and law by Lu Ping, and the crime of bigamy by Li Xinghua, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the CPPCC Charter and the Pu'er Municipal Committee of the CPPCC Committee Service Management Measures, the 21st meeting of the Standing Committee of the Fifth Committee of the Pu'er Municipal Committee of the CPPCC decided to revoke the qualifications of Lu Ping and Li Xinghua as members of the Fifth Committee of the Pu'er Municipal Committee of the CPPCC. Lu Ping was the former Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the Pu'er Municipal CPPCC, and was announced to be under investigation in August this year. Li Xinghua was previously the Vice Chairman of the Pu'er Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Vice President of the City Charity Association, and the Chairman of the Pu'er Xingyin Trade Co., Ltd.
