National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the national railway will transport more than 200 million passengers.

At the press conference held today by the State Council Information Office, it was learned that during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, the travel demands of national railway tourism, family visits, and students are interwoven and superimposed, resulting in highly concentrated passenger flow in certain sections and time periods. It is expected that the national railway will transport more than 219 million passengers, with an average of about 13,000 passenger trains planned to operate daily, sending an average of 18.25 million passengers per day. October 1st is expected to be the peak day for holiday passenger flow.
