Recently, at the 2025 Bay Area Cross-border New Ecological Conference held in Shenzhen, the Bay Area Cross-border Alliance was officially launched. The alliance's core mission is to "integrate full-chain resources and empower Bay Area e-commerce", coordinating sellers, service providers, manufacturers, and trade associations in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to build an open, collaborative, and win-win ecological system. By efficiently integrating and sharing resources, the alliance aims to enhance the international competitiveness of enterprises in the region. As a new format of foreign trade, cross-border e-commerce has become an important engine driving the economic growth of the Bay Area. With intensified global market competition, increasing trade barriers, rapid technological iteration, and challenges such as rising costs, shrinking profits, and complex multi-platform operations faced by enterprises, the "go-it-alone" mode may not effectively address systemic risks. In this context, Shenzhen Zhimei Industry Group proposed the initiative, and multiple trade associations such as the Guangdong E-commerce Association, Guangdong Cross-border Commodity Trade Association, Hong Kong E-commerce Association, Macao E-commerce Association, Shenzhen Internet Live Broadcasting Association, Dongguan E-commerce Federation, Foshan E-commerce Association, and approximately one hundred enterprises jointly launched the Bay Area Cross-border Alliance to accelerate the integration of full-chain resources such as sellers, service providers, manufacturers, platforms, and capital for cross-border e-commerce in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, supporting the collaborative development of the Bay Area cross-border industry.
