CIAPS Deputy Secretary-General Feng Siyao: In the next three years, the top players in the energy storage industry will see significant benefits from concentration.

At the Advanced Energy and New Materials Industry Matchmaking Conference jointly organized by Chengdu Industrial Investment Group, Feng Siyao, Deputy Secretary General of the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association, pointed out: "As of the end of August, the cumulative installed capacity of China's new energy storage has exceeded 104GW. New energy storage power stations are showing a trend towards centralized and large-scale development. In the next three years, the industry's top companies will see significant benefits, with diverse application scenarios and gradually improving business models." She cited the "Special Action Plan for Scaling up the Construction of New Energy Storage" jointly issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Energy Administration, which aims to achieve a nationwide new energy storage installed capacity of over 180GW by 2027, driving direct project investments of around 250 billion yuan.
