On September 26th, local time in the United States, Lockheed Martin announced that its subsidiary Sikorsky has been awarded a contract worth nearly $11 billion by the U.S. Navy to build 99 CH-53K "King Stallion" heavy transport helicopters. Lockheed Martin stated that this is the largest order for this model of aircraft so far. Sikorsky will deliver these helicopters between 2029 and 2034. (CCTV News).
