Wisdom Finance APP News, One Universe (01616.HK) announced that BeiTaiInvestmentLP (petitioner) filed a winding-up petition against the company in the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (court) on September 16, 2025. According to the petition, the company and the petitioner entered into a subscription agreement on December 11, 2020, under which the company, as the issuer, agreed to issue unsecured bonds maturing in 2021, with a total principal amount of 43 million Hong Kong dollars and an annual interest rate of 8%, and the petitioner, as the investor, agreed to subscribe. As of August 8, 2025, the company has partially repaid the petitioner approximately 9.6 million Hong Kong dollars, leaving an outstanding balance of approximately 33.4 million Hong Kong dollars (continuing to accrue interest at an annual rate of 8%). The hearing of the petition is scheduled for November 26, 2025.
