Before, Daqing Volvo Car Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Volvo Car Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products". 1. Recall number S2025M0162V: From September 26, 2025, a total of 5793 domestically produced S90 vehicles produced between April 24, 2025 and August 7, 2025 will be recalled. Some vehicles within the scope of this recall have a deviation in the position of the sealant on the steering column due to production parameter adjustments, resulting in poor sealing, water ingress risk, and potential impact on the floor area wiring harness. In extreme cases, this could lead to instrument panel warnings, malfunctioning of active safety systems, and safety hazards. Daqing Volvo Car Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will authorize Volvo Car dealers to reapply sealant free of charge on the affected vehicles to eliminate safety hazards. 2. Recall number S2025M0163V: From September 26, 2025, a total of 3 domestically produced S90 vehicles produced between August 11, 2025 and August 21, 2025 will be recalled. Recall number S2025M0164V: Effective immediately, a total of 723 imported XC90 vehicles produced between June 17, 2025 and August 20, 2025, and 53 imported V90CC vehicles produced between June 24, 2025 and August 10, 2025 will be recalled. Some vehicles within the scope of this recall have a possible issue in the front seat belt retractor locking system due to manufacturing problems. If a collision occurs, it could affect the restraint effectiveness of the seat belt, posing a safety hazard. Daqing Volvo Car Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Volvo Car Sales Co., Ltd. will authorize Volvo Car dealers to replace the front seat belt assemblies on the affected vehicles free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
