The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and seven other departments have issued the "Stable Growth Work Plan for the Petrochemical Industry". It proposes to expand international cooperation space, actively respond to changes in the international trade environment, and continue to implement stable foreign trade policy measures. It guides and helps enterprises to deal with unreasonable trade restrictions imposed by foreign countries. Utilize free trade agreements such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, actively participate in the high-quality construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative, steadily promote overseas oil and gas, potash, and other resource development and utilization through joint ventures, actively explore emerging markets, and expand exports channels for petrochemical products. Strengthen the service support for foreign-funded projects, encourage foreign-funded enterprises to establish research and development centers and joint ventures in China, and enhance cooperation in the fields of fine chemicals, green and low-carbon, and artificial intelligence. Support industry associations to strengthen research on international trade rules and trade situation, deepen communication and exchange with relevant countries and industry organizations, and help chemical enterprises improve their overseas business compliance and sustainable development capabilities. Actively participate in international convention negotiations, deeply engage in the formulation of international standards and rules, encourage the international development of third-party certification bodies, and improve the standard system and product certification system in line with international standards.
