Shanghai Putuo District issued "Shanghai Putuo District Public Data Management Measures"

The People's Government of Putuo District, Shanghai Municipality issued the "Regulations on Public Data Management in Putuo District, Shanghai Municipality", aiming to strengthen the full life cycle management of public data, promote high-quality supply of public data resources and compliant and efficient circulation and use, enhance government governance capabilities and public service levels, and promote high-quality development of the regional economy and society and the city's overall digital transformation. The regulations elaborate on the definition of public data, management principles, work mechanisms, division of responsibilities, governance and registration, sharing, opening, authorization operation, security management, and protection of rights and interests. The regulations will be implemented from October 3, 2025.
