On September 26th, it was reported that Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet, has requested the United States Supreme Court to temporarily suspend a lower court's order that requires it to fully reform its app store policies in an antitrust lawsuit filed by "Fortnite" developer Epic Games. Google stated in a filing to the Supreme Court on Wednesday that the order, which is set to take effect on October 22nd, should be stayed during the company's request for Supreme Court review. The filing stated that without a stay, the company and its Android ecosystem will suffer "irreparable harm."
