On September 25, Chunan New Energy released a new generation of 588 Ah high-capacity storage dedicated batteries. According to Bu Xiangnan, Executive Vice President of Chunan New Energy, the energy density of the new generation 588 Ah storage dedicated battery exceeds the winding process limit to reach 588 Ah, with a quality energy density of 190 Wh/kg and a volume energy density of 419 Wh/L, and an energy efficiency of 96.5%. Bu Xiangnan stated at the press conference that for the 588 Ah storage dedicated battery released this time, Chunan New Energy has planned a total production capacity of over 200 GWh, and is expected to begin small-scale production and delivery in the second quarter of 2026, and achieve full-scale production and delivery in the third quarter.
