Three departments: to achieve the important iron and water intermodal port enterprise related systems access to railway information by 2027.

The Ministry of Transport, the National Railway Administration, and China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. issued the "Action Plan for Promoting the Deep Integration of Container Rail-water Intermodal Transport with 'One Port, One Policy'," which mentions accelerating the interconnection of information in rail-water intermodal transport. It aims to promote enterprises such as railways, ports, shipping, and freight forwarding companies to establish stable and reliable information system interaction and data sharing mechanisms in accordance with laws and regulations under market principles, opening up information such as booking trains or ships, train schedules, arrival and departure stations, terminal operations, and positioning trajectories to promote the dynamic traceability of goods, enhance the efficiency of port-rail coordination and intermodal transport services. By 2027, it aims to achieve the connection of relevant systems of important rail-water intermodal transport port enterprises with railway information.
