Shanxi Province will strive to achieve rapid growth in unconventional natural gas reserves and production in the short term, with unconventional natural gas production exceeding 20 billion cubic meters by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan period. In the medium and long term, it aims to double production and value, reaching a production target of 30 billion cubic meters by 2030, and making every effort to build a trillion-yuan industry cluster for unconventional natural gas. By then, Shanxi Province will provide new momentum for optimizing the national energy structure, ensuring energy security, and achieving the "dual carbon" goals.
