Fujian province has initiated a Level IV flood control emergency response and adjusted the typhoon emergency response to Level IV.

Typhoon No. 18 "Hujasha" is currently located about 550 kilometers east-southeast of Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province at 15:00 today, with maximum wind force near the center reaching level 17. It is expected that "Hujasha" will make landfall along the coast of Zhuhai to Zhanjiang in Guangdong Province on the afternoon or evening of the 24th. The Fujian Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued a Level III heavy rain warning at 15:30 on the 23rd, while downgrading the typhoon warning to Level IV. In accordance with the "Fujian Province Flood Control, Drought Relief and Typhoon Emergency Response Plan" and the "Fujian Provincial People's Government Flood Control, Drought Relief and Typhoon Command Emergency Response Work Procedures," the Provincial Flood Control Office has decided to simultaneously initiate a Level IV flood control emergency response and adjust the typhoon emergency response to Level IV.
