The 12th Member Representative Conference of the China International Economic Relations Society and the 12th First Meeting of the Council were held.

On September 20, 2025, the China International Economic Relations Society held its twelfth member representative conference and the first meeting of the twelfth council, with representatives from member units, academia, and industry in attendance. L Lei, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the People's Bank of China, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting listened to and reviewed the work report and financial report of the eleventh council of the China International Economic Relations Society, passed the Charter of the China International Economic Relations Society, and elected the members of the twelfth council. The first meeting of the twelfth council elected the executive director and leader of the China International Economic Relations Society. Chen Huaiyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of China, was elected as the president of the twelfth council of the China International Economic Relations Society.
