On September 23rd, local time, ExxonMobil's new facility on Jurong Island in Singapore was commissioned. The statement stated that the new facility will increase base oil production by 20,000 barrels per day. These base oils are mainly used in commercial vehicles and industrial fields, as well as in engine oils, gear oils, marine oils, and lubricants. ExxonMobil said that the technology used in the new facility can convert fuel oil and other crude oil by-products into higher-value base oils and distillate oils, thereby enhancing the competitiveness and profitability of the manufacturing base and meeting customer demand.
