Today, reporters learned that the State Administration for Market Regulation has revised and promulgated the national standards for "Urban Public Bus and Trolleybus Passenger Transport Service Specifications" and "Car Rental Service Specifications." Both standards will be implemented on November 1st. The new version of the national standard for "Urban Public Bus and Trolleybus Passenger Transport Service Specifications" supports the implementation of the "Urban Public Transport Regulations." In terms of service requirements, it adds relevant requirements for the integrated development of urban public buses and trolleybuses with urban rail transit, the application of information technology, customized travel services, etc. In terms of operational safety, it adds relevant requirements for the use and maintenance of facilities and equipment for new energy vehicles, and strengthens the connection between technical standards for on-board terminals and protective isolation facilities in the driving area of urban public buses and trolleybuses. The new version of the national standard for "Car Rental Service Specifications" adds relevant requirements for car rental network platforms. It proposes to verify and supervise the information of car rental operators and rental vehicles that are registered, and to use technical means to prevent malicious low-price competition and false advertising by registered operators.
