From January to August, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size in the city increased by 7.8% year-on-year, with private enterprises growing by 11.1%. The city's fixed asset investment increased by 3.3% year-on-year, with private investment growing by 6.6%. The total retail sales of consumer goods in the city increased by 6.2% year-on-year.
