Baosteel's Thin Sheet Factory CSP production line achieves mass production of extreme thickness specifications products.

Recently, the CSP production line of Baosteel Co., Ltd.'s thin plate mill successfully rolled 120 pieces of 19.95mm hot-rolled plate in a single casting, with a total yield of 2400 tons. This marks the first breakthrough in the maximum thickness specification for Baosteel's hot-rolled strip products, following a previous breakthrough in the minimum thickness specification. It is reported that hot-rolled strip products with a thickness of around 20mm have high strength, toughness, and low-temperature impact resistance, and are widely used in large pressure fluid transportation pipelines. In recent years, with the advancement of related projects, the demand for this high value-added product in the market is gradually increasing.
