According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the total arable land area in China is 1.94 billion mu, of which more than 1 billion mu are high-standard farmland. In recent days, in Changqiao Town, Fujian Province, more than 14,000 mu of early rice is experiencing a bumper harvest, with a yield expected to exceed 6,200 tons. Changqiao Town is surrounded by hilly terrain and is a typical mountainous river valley area. In the past, farmland was scattered and plots were small, making it difficult to carry out mechanized operations. In recent years, the local government has actively promoted land transfer, transforming these small "patchwork fields" into high-standard farmland that can be mechanized through resource integration. At the same time, by upgrading and transforming infrastructure such as ditches, embankments, and farm roads, crop productivity has been significantly improved, pressing the "acceleration key" for the bumper harvest.
