Egypt's Suez Canal Economic Zone has built two textile factories, with investors coming from China and Turkey respectively.
The Egyptian government issued a statement on September 20th, announcing that Egyptian Prime Minister Madbouly unveiled two textile factories invested by Chinese and Turkish companies in the Suez Canal Economic Zone of Egypt on the same day. These two factories are located in the West Kantara Industrial Zone, invested by Chinese company Hengsheng Egypt Textile Technology Co., Ltd. and Turkish company Erol Global Holdings. The chairman of Hengsheng Egypt Textile Technology Co., Ltd., Chen Songfu, stated that the total investment of the textile factory constructed by the company is 70 million US dollars, covering an area of 200,000 square meters, and will be built in two phases, with each phase covering an area of 100,000 square meters, creating approximately 1300 job opportunities.
