The country's first 500 kV fully self-controllable substation has been put into operation.

Today, the first 500kV fully autonomous and controllable new generation substation in the country, the Xiquan substation, was put into operation in Liaoning. The Xiquan substation has achieved the full localization of core materials, key chips, operating systems, databases, and even technical standards system of electrical and protection equipment for the first time, improving the power grid security and the ability to transmit new energy power in the northern Liaoning region.
