On September 19th local time, D.J. Seo, president of Neuralink, a brain-machine interface company owned by Musk, announced that the company plans to launch a brain-machine interface implantation experiment in October. The target group is people who have lost the ability to speak, with the goal of allowing them to "convert their thoughts into text without the need for a keyboard."
