Yin Li meets with the Chairman of the Taiwan side of the Cross-Strait Entrepreneurs Summit.

Yesterday afternoon, Yin Li, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, met with Liu Zhaoxuan, Chairman of the Taiwan side of the Cross-Strait Entrepreneurs Summit. Guo Jinlong, Chairman of the mainland side of the Cross-Strait Entrepreneurs Summit, and Yin Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the meeting. Yin Li welcomed the Taiwan guests who participated in the Beijing-Taiwan Science and Technology Forum, saying that he hoped everyone could work together to promote economic, trade, and technological cooperation, utilize platforms such as the Cross-Strait Technology Innovation Center, and focus on areas such as artificial intelligence and biomedicine to develop new productive forces. He also emphasized deepening cultural exchanges, organizing events such as the Kaohsiung-Beijing Special Week, enhancing the influence of important platforms, promoting exchanges in tourism, cultural and creative industries, film and television, and youth interaction, and promoting Chinese culture. He called for joint efforts to promote the great cause of national reunification, uphold the spirit of the great resistance against Japan, resolutely oppose "Taiwan independence" and foreign interference, promote the peaceful development of cross-strait relations, and make new contributions to national reunification and rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. China will adhere to the concept of "cross-strait family" and strive to create a good environment for Taiwanese compatriots to invest, travel, study, and live in Beijing.
