The Washington Post of the United States quoted five sources on September 18th as saying that in order to push for a trade deal with China, President Trump had refused to approve over $400 million in military aid to Taiwan this summer. The sources said that although Trump may still change his mind, this decision marks a significant change in the US policy towards Taiwan. China has repeatedly emphasized its strong opposition to any form of military collusion between the US and Taiwan. Whether it is military aid, arms sales, or any other pretext, the US is trying to bring the flames of war to Taiwan, with intentions that are extremely evil. Two sources said that the military aid plan is worth over $400 million and will be more "lethal" than previous rounds of aid to Taiwan, including ammunition and unmanned aerial vehicles. A White House official stated in a statement that the decision on the aid plan has not been finalized. The Taiwanese mission in the US declined to comment.
