Guangdong Maritime Authority initiates level two emergency response to prevent tropical cyclones.
This year's 17th typhoon "Mina," at 06:00 on September 19th, the center was located at 21.7 degrees north latitude and 116.1 degrees east longitude, about 145 kilometers southeast of Shanwei City, Guangdong Province. The maximum wind force near the center is 8 and the minimum central pressure is 995 hPa. According to the relevant regulations such as the "Emergency Response Plan for Tropical Cyclones" of the Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration, after research and judgment, the Guangdong Maritime Safety Administration has decided to activate Level 2 emergency response to tropical cyclones at 7:00 on September 19. All relevant units are required to strictly follow the typhoon prevention plan and resolutely implement various defense measures to ensure the safety of water traffic.
