NVIDIA will invest $5 billion in Intel. Intel will create custom x86 CPUs for NVIDIA. NVIDIA will integrate these CPUs into its artificial intelligence infrastructure platform. Intel will also create a chip system for NVIDIA's small chips that power personal computers. NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun said: "This historic partnership will tightly integrate NVIDIA's artificial intelligence and acceleration computing stack with Intel's CPU and large x86 ecosystem."

On September 18, Panasonic Energy, a subsidiary of Panasonic Holdings, announced its commitment to producing "all-solid-state batteries" which are considered to be a popular candidate for the next generation of batteries. Compared to lithium-ion batteries, all-solid-state batteries have a lower risk of catching fire and can operate in high-temperature environments. Panasonic Energy plans to utilize these characteristics for applications in industrial machinery, aiming to achieve sample shipments by 2026.
