The former director of the Anhui Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Xu Chongxin, has been expelled from the party for using his position to seek profits for others in engineering contracting, coal trading, and other areas.

After investigation, Xu Chongxin lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original intentions and missions, was disloyal and dishonest to the party, and resisted organizational inspection; ignored the spirit of the central eight-point regulations, accepted gifts and money improperly, and accepted travel arrangements improperly; violated organizational principles, did not truthfully explain issues in organizational inquiries, and sought personnel benefits for relatives improperly; did not value family ethics, and lost control and education over relatives; used his position to benefit others in engineering contracting, coal trading, and other areas, and illegally accepted large sums of money.
