Guo Lingji appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial Committee and Minister of the Organization Department.

On September 17, a cadres meeting of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee Organization Department was held, announcing personnel decisions by the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee. Provincial Party Secretary Shen Xiaoming attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting announced that the Central Committee approved Comrade Guo Lingji as a member and standing committee member of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee; and the Provincial Committee decided that Comrade Guo Lingji serves as the Minister of the Provincial Party Committee Organization Department and the President of the Provincial Party School.
