Li Jia Chao: Actively cultivating emerging industries such as new energy, AI, and data science.

On September 17, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, delivered the 2025 Policy Address at the Legislative Council. Lam stated that the government is committed to promoting the transformation of the industrial structure. On one hand, it will consolidate traditional advantageous industries such as finance and law, and on the other hand, actively nurture emerging industries including advanced manufacturing, life and health technology, new energy, AI, and data science, in order to create more high-quality job opportunities, increase personal income, and enhance economic efficiency.
